In early December, members of the Scottish Rite Valley of Franklin Scottish Rite presented a $13,000.00 check from the North Carolina Scottish Rite Masonic Foundation to Western Carolina University’s Speech and Hearing clinic on behalf of NC RiteCare. The Speech and Hearing Clinic (SHC) is committed to providing clinical services of the highest quality to individuals with communication disorders. The clinic also provides training opportunities for the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders graduate students, including clinical practicum, supervision, and research. Funds donated will directly support the Camp LEAD (Language Education Advancement and Development) summer school.
